Shifting Realities: Landscape, Myth and Folklore in Alan Garner's early novels of the 1960s- Online

An evening exploring the shifting nature of reality that emerges through the interplay of history, folklore and landscape within Alan Garner’s early novels of the 1960s, The Weirdstone of Brisingamen, The Moon of GomrathElidor and Red Shift. An online event for those unable to join me in London in August, tonight will include an extended talk and plenty of time for discussion. It is the first session of an Owl House Alan Garner series for 2023 - 4 as part of my ongoing work on a book about his fiction.
